How it works

What to expect

Referral or enquiry

Referrals can be made by employers, HR, occupational health professionals or individuals directly via email or phone.

Initial contact

Initial contact can be made via email or phone. If preferred, our psychologist can arrange a free consultation call to discuss your requirements and explain our assessment process. This provides an opportunity to decide whether our service is the right fit for your needs. If we’re not right for you, we’ll try and signpost you to somewhere that is.

If you choose to proceed, we will arrange the assessment appointment and send the relevant documentation.

Psychological assessment

Assessments are carried out in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, although we can also attend workplaces or office locations where appropriate.

Assessments are conducted at a pace that suits the individual and can last up to four hours. They may be completed in a single day, with breaks as required, or across separate sessions on different days.

The assessment process involves a structured clinical interview alongside a series of psychological measures designed to build a comprehensive understanding of the individual’s presentation, strengths and support needs. No preparation is required for these assessments.

Individuals will be provided with feedback on the day of the assessment, including discussion of potential recommendations and workplace support strategies.

Report & recommendations

Following the assessment, we provide a clear, practical, and workplace-focused report containing evidence-based recommendations and guidance. Reports are typically issued within four weeks of the assessment.
